Château du Vieux Puit
Les Racines Appellation Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux
The hyphen
Our cuvée Les Racines is the witness of our double activity of winegrower and wine-growing nursery.
The vine stocks used for this wine are the effect of the “big plants”: they differ from traditional plants by the size of the rootstock, which is larger here.
This greatly limits phytosanitary treatments, the removal of shoots in the vineyard and makes the work of the workers less arduous.

An honest, frank and gourmet wine! If the wines of Blayais are known for their fine and elegant tannins, it is also by its aromatic palette that the Château du Vieux Puit seduces. Fruity aromas of blackberry, spicy pepper and liquorice, carried by fine and well-melted tannins.

The famous white striped sweater with blue stripes is a must-have, and will last for centuries without wrinkles.
The sailor is also an emblem of the French style, from Coco Chanel to Jean-Paul Gaultier, via Arnaud Montebourg who defended “made in France” on the cover of the Parisian in 2012.
It can also be seen as a nod in the direction of the new trend to compare wine bottles to a perfume or a funny French cliché.
